Polytron logoPolytron Corporation has updated their website with some long-awaited screenshots and tidbits of information about Fez [link]. About time, too! :D Suffice to say that the game is looking truly delicious and I can’t wait for a release some time this year.

Now, if they would only post a brief teaser video of the current gameplay I’d certainly be most hyped… pwetty pwease? ;)

    The first thing I thought when I saw the first screen was “Cave story, anyone?”. Though I was mistaken a bit, I guess the graphics style has the Cave Story feel to it. As for mixing pixel art with 3D, and stuff, well… I wish I could say something about that, but there is one thing I am sure – I want to check it to be sure!

    Hehe, well, I think the graphics are a lot brighter and airier than Cave Story – at least in the parts of the game we’ve been shown so far.

    I really want to get a hands-on too. I’m more hyped about Fez than I was with Aquaria, so roll on release day! :D

    Mmm… All I can say at this point is that it looks like an innovative take on the traditional platformer and the visuals are sweet. I can’t wait. :)
